Birmingham Brummies open Bellway’s Leyhill show apartment

Speedway stars from Birmingham Brummies cut the ribbon on Bellway’s new apartment block at Leyhill in Northfield, Birmingham.
Ben Barker and Nicolas Covatti joined Bellway’s sales team and guests to take the first look around the new showhome on Saturday. Their visit was part of an open weekend to celebrate the launch of the apartment block at the Leyhill development, where Bellway has been building for five years.
Bellway sales manager Annette Baskett said: “The Birmingham Brummies boys were great guests. They stayed to chat to our visitors and even donated a 2014 season ticket to watch them race at the Perry Barr Stadium. Visitors over the weekend were all entered into a prize draw for the ticket and the winner will be announced soon.”
Two of the apartments have already sold off-plan ahead of the launch. Visitors turned out to take advantage of the opening offers, which include a 40in TV for anyone reserving in October.
Annette Baskett said: “We were delighted with the turnout for the launch weekend. We knew from the number of enquiries we had received that demand was going to be high.
“First-time buyers especially have been expressing interest in the apartments. In many cases Help to Buy has brought home ownership within their reach.”
The one and two-bedroom apartments start at £76,996 and are available with a five per cent deposit through Help to Buy.
The showhome is open daily from 10.30am to 5pm and until 7.30pm on Thursdays. For more information call 0121 4781944 or see
