Sales at Bellway’s Grange Park development in Oadby Leicestershire buck the trend

Despite what the housing market pundits are saying, the property market is alive and well claims Bellway’s Ben Smith, sales director at the company’s East Midlands division.

Specifically, sales at the division’s Grange Park development near Leicester prove the point; “The demand here has been such that we have already sold 22 of the 40 plots off plan and we have now sold the show home as it was no longer required,” confirmed Ben.

The site which opened on 1st November 2010 comprises 40 homes which are priced from £162,950.

“We expect our first customers to be moving into their new homes this May. The popularity of the site has been staggering and with our current sales rate this really is the last chance customers will have to buy at Grange Park. A majority of our buyers are families or people wanting to move up the housing ladder,” said Ben.
